I am rising to not let myself sleep
I am rising to not let myself bear and weep.
Yes, i am rising
Because i know i have to move
Because i know i have to raise my voice
Because i know i have my rights.
Yes, i am rising
I am rising as I live many lives within myself
I am rising as I have many unclaimed pains.
Yes, i am rising
I am rising as you are still sleeping
I am rising as you are still not well behaving
I am rising as i claim for my day and night
I am rising for everything that is right.
And when i am rising,
I am not the only one,
I am rising with billion others,
And V will make the world rise,
Above its darkness
And we will bring the dawn...
